Description
The Small Stream Rod from Nation FC is engineered for technical fishing in confined spaces – mountain pools, brushy banks, and fast-moving runs under heavy canopy. Built around high modulus custom carbon fiber and Nano resin, it delivers a lightweight, sensitive blank with moderate fast action, low swing weight, and fast recovery suited to both delicate dry fly presentations and heavier nymph rigs. The rod breaks down into six pieces that cast like a one-piece, housed in a heavy-duty tube covered in 100% Repreve recycled nylon with a hydrophobic rod bag, aluminum carabiner, 3M reflective cord, and multiple lash points for easy pack carry. Saltwater-safe hardware includes corrosion-proof anodized aluminum reel seats, single-foot snake guides, and sustainably sourced cork grips.
